What has changed?

We have launched Outcome Private Wealth, our independent wealth management firm, in partnership with LPL Financial the nation’s largest independent broker/dealer* overall, supporting over 19,000 independent advisors. Our dedication to helping you navigate the complexities of life to pursue the outcomes you want has not, and will not, change.

What motivated you to make the change?

As the financial industry continues to evolve, our clients’ needs have too. In order to address those needs and maintain the high level of service you have come to expect from us, we felt an increased need for flexibility in our business. With our new partnerships, we will have access to state-of-the-art technology, tools, and resources, plus a broad array of investment choices and multi-custodial offerings for a more personalized experience. LPL has zero proprietary products so our only motivation is to help you work toward your desired outcomes. We made this decision because of you, and our dedication to always serving you first. With LPL’s support, we will be able to provide you with more insights, more personalized attention, and more overall value. 

Why didn’t you tell us about this change earlier?

We would have loved to tell you sooner, but due to industry rules around Broker/Dealer conflicts of interest, we were prohibited from announcing this move until after the change was official. Where will my assets be held, and how safe will they be?

As a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member firm, subject to the federal securities laws and the rules of industry self regulatory organizations, LPL Financial prioritizes its obligations to protect client assets in their custody with the utmost care and scrupulous adherence to financial protection rules, including those governing the segregation of client assets.  

LPL provides an enormous catalog of services and resources, as well as a long history of financial stability. The LPL Financial SIPC Membership provides account protection up to a maximum of $500,000 per customer, of which $250,000 may be claims for cash. An explanatory brochure is available at www.sipc.org. Additionally, through London Insurers, LPL Financial accounts have additional securities protection to cover the net equity of customer accounts up to an overall aggregate firm limit of $600,000,000 subject to conditions and limitations. The account protection applies when a SIPC member firm fails financially and is unable to meet obligations to securities clients, but it does not protect against losses from the rise and fall in the market value of investments.

Has your investment process changed?

No. In fact, because of our new partnerships, we now have access to enhanced research and technology capabilities, as well as sophisticated portfolio construction tools that empower us to do more for you. None of your current investments will need to be sold in the process of a transfer and with greater freedom of choice, your investment opportunities can benefit.

Why did you choose LPL Financial as your broker/dealer?

After careful research and discussion among our team, we selected LPL Financial because of the sophisticated tools they provide, and their commitment to treating our clients like people, not accounts. What should I expect during this transition?

You can expect a smooth and transparent process as we make this transition together. We will contact you directly to discuss your account transfer, and how this change will positively impact your experience with us. Maintaining continuity and stability is of utmost importance as we strive to continually provide value.

Were you able to bring my files?

Due to industry rules, we are not permitted to bring your files with us, so we will need to gather some information you had previously shared. Our upgraded technology, however, will make updating and managing your data easier and more secure.

Can I keep my accounts where they are?

Yes, however, we will not be able to manage the accounts that are not with Outcome Private Wealth through LPL Financial. If you choose to keep your accounts elsewhere, you will be reassigned to a different advisor. 

How is my personal information protected?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, LPL Financial uses security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. LPL’s online environment uses security technologies, including layered security and access controls over personal information. Where is your new office?

How do I log into my account? 

Once you move your account to Outcome Private Wealth at LPL Financial, we will contact you to let you know how to enroll in our new client portal. 

How did you choose your name?

Goals are great, but they are less specific than outcomes. Our team came together to choose the name Outcome because it describes both our process and the ethos we all live by. Goals reflect your ambition, efforts or desire whereas outcomes describe the way things turn out: a consequence or an achievement. Goals are an enlightening part of the discussion to help us better understand WHY you want your outcomes, but we focus on what you actually want to accomplish, then develop a path forward together.
